We had a great 4 day break in Ash Lodge. The views from the veranda were perfect and we were able to watch the sunset in the evenings. The River Ouse was only a couple of hundred yards away, perfect if you like short walks. The lodge was immaculately clean and the bedding looked new and was fresh. It was close to York but far away enough to feel secluded. We had a lovely family break and will be looking to go back again in summer. This time we want a lodge with a hot tub though.......more fun :)

This location is perfect if you want a nice quiet peaceful holiday, plus it is within easy reach of York city and the large outlet park at McArthur Glen, you can either get a bus from outside the campsite or drive into the Outlet Park and get the park & ride bus service direct to the centre of York. There are plenty of lovely countryside around the campsite if you prefer to go walking, and plenty of places around to go for a meal would recommend the Thai Restaurant about 3 miles away.

The couple who run the farm are very welcoming indeed and can't do enough for you. The accommodation is lovely and clean inside and the outside surroundings are extremely peaceful.

This is spot on for numerous reasons. Easy access to York yet a lovely quiet location. Designer Outlet a few miles away with Park & scheme for York centre. So much to see and do in and around York. Ideal base for a short break or maybe longer.

A warm welcome from the owners made us feel at home straight away. The park is in an excellent location for touring the area. The accommodation was very clean and well presented, the facilities in the accommodation were of a high standard. Pleasant, peaceful views, can't wait to book again.

Lovely setting, perfect base for visiting York and the surrounding area. Park and ride for the city centre is just 10 minutes away. Overall a quiet and peaceful stay with everything you could need in the lodge.

Lovely location. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place. Close to designer outlet, close to York and park and ride. Fantastic view from the lodge, would go again.

The accommodation was first class, a good size for 4 people, spotless, the views were excellent, ideally situated for York and the staff were very helpful.

Very enjoyable setting. The lodge was clean, well appointed and peaceful and the staff were very friendly. Very easy access to the Designer Outlet and York Park and Ride. I would certainly book this again!
